If your trend forecast is accurate, then you will surely multiply the amount that you invested exponentially. You just have to return the amount lent and the interest. All the rest goes to your profit. Trading by the margin can be very helpful for expert traders who do not have enough capital to invest.
The negative side to it is losing. Note that you will be borrowing the amount that you will invest and it comes with an interest. If your forecast is wrong or the trend suddenly changes, you will be losing more than what you can afford. Because of this, traders should make their decisions carefully.
Margin traders need to use forex risk management strategies. One of these is the stop loss technique where the trader sets a limit for the currency value. If thevalue goes down to the limit, he withdraws from the market to stop losses. This makes trading by the margin a lot safer.
